Overview

AppPerfect Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) controller monitors any TCP/IP device for which an SNMP agent is available. It reads the SNMP agent's MIB and uses the standard SNMP mechanism for communication between the SNMP agent and the AppPerfect Agentless Monitor.

AppPerfect SNMP controller provides a standards-based device monitoring mechanism. It is easy to install and configure and requires a fraction of resources as compared to IBM Tivoli, HP OpenView and CA UniCenter.
