Web server monitoring

AppPerfect Web Server Monitor monitors major versions of the Apache Http Server (version 1.3.x and 2.x) and Microsoft Internet Information Server (versions 5.x and 6.x) across most operating systems.

AppPerfect Web Server Monitor imposes very low overhead on the monitored Web server. It uses existing Web server services to extract monitoring information.

• Supports both major versions of Apache Http Server: 1.x and 2.x
• Very low overhead with efficient mod_monitor module use Apache Http Server: 1.x and 2.x
• Use of performance counters for Microsoft IIS
• Helps co-relate web server activity with system resources for better capacity planning and performance analysis

Provides support to monitor the administrative and performance statistics for an Apache HTTP server and the Microsoft IIS server:

• Total accesses
• Requests per second
• Bytes transferred per second
• Bytes transferred per request
• Total traffic
