The Ping Monitor can be set to automate pinging any device (machine/router) to know about its availability. The ping monitor is very useful in situations where you want to make sure a device is up 24x7. The automated ping is a simple yet highly effective tool in achieving this. It saves you the time you would take to manually determine the status of a device as well as provide you with a report showing the history of its availability.

Ping Path (String): This is the path for the 'ping' command executable file. For example, on a Windows machine, it is typically: C:\WINNT\system32 OR C:\WINDOWS\system32.
